I want a sunburnt nap
and hammock swinging
an early morning yawn
and stretch, then run
legs reaching through
already thick and humid starts
eyes still sleepy
but thanks for making me get up
the coffee
the sweaty kiss
a sweet welcome home package
from the pavement pounding
as we settle into sunrise
nestled and grounding
